Melvin Morse, M.D.

Dr. Morse received his M.D. from George Washington University School of Medicine and is currently the Medical Director of Valley Children’s Clinic and Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is an instructor of Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation for the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association. In addition to his publications in numerous medical journals, Dr. Morse has written three major books on near-death experiences; Closer to the Light: Learning from Near-Death Experiences of Children (1990), Transformed by the Light: The Powerful Effects of Near-Death Experiences on People’s Lives (1992), and Parting Visions: Uses and Meanings of Near-Death and Spiritual Experiences (1994). He was recently voted "The Best Pediatrician in the Northwest."
