From the witness’s e-mail report:
“I have not told many about this...its almost like I’m afraid to. My wife even said not to talk about it, but I know what I saw, right in front of the Mt. Charleston Hotel. My wife and both my sons saw this. We actually stopped and rolled down the windows. This thing was the size of a mobile home. It made no noise at all... I cant believe I’m telling you this because we haven’t told anyone about this. I am truly nervous even writing this.”
In September of 1999, this family were leaving the parking lot of the Charleston Hotel where they had just had dinner, this witness was driving. He was about to turn left onto the highway. He looked to his left to see if it was safe to proceed when he saw a huge object that appeared to be hovering near the church across the street. The object was rectangular in shape and it was bigger than the Baptist church. It looked like a huge cargo container like those rolling type seen behind semi trucks. It had some type of indentations on its side. It was dark grayish/reddish in color. There was a white light on the middle of the side closest to them. On that same side there was also a red light on the middle right, and a blue light on the middle left. As this witness and his wife and son watched, the object moved slowly (5 mph), up the ravine of the mountain, until it disappeared over the summit. This witness’s wife said it was so awesome because of the size of the object. It was like having a 747 just floating in the air a few feet off the ground in front of them. It made no sound at all.

This witness and some other USAF security police had been at Nellis AFB for a
softball game. They were on their way back to the Angels Peak radar site,
(Henderson mountain), on US 95 when the site called them and asked if they
could see anything over the site. They saw this described UFO hovering just
feet over the radar site. The radar site informed them they had tracked this
object from the coast of either Washington or Oregon all the way to their site.
This witness and the others saw it until they were nearly at the base of the mountain.
Then it vanished. This witness cannot provide the names of any of the other witnesses.
